To Profess Obedience or To Possess Obedience?

    .            The first son – social outcasts responded

    .            The second son – lost condition, delusion of righteousness

Three Implications
1.  Even the most notorious sinner can be saved – you can never out-sin God’s grace
2.  Repentance is a gospel requirement – an emotional and volitional response
3.  Profession without obedience is no proof of conversion – Matthew 23:2-3, 7:21-23, James 2:26
