Maranatha Bible Church is shepherded by a plurality of elders who meet the qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 and who unanimously, equally, and autonomously serve the local body of believers. These elders function as a team, equally sharing in the shepherding, teaching, and oversight of MBC. In addition to the elders, a group of deacons who meet the qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3 serve by meeting practical needs within the body and freeing the elders to devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4).
